Biography

I have ten years of hands-on experience in supporting children with learning disabilities in residential care settings.

I’m an experienced, compassionate professional with the skills to provide emotional and educational support using a holistic, child-centred approach.

As a certified PRICE Restraint Reduction Trainer, I promote safe, respectful, and effective behaviour support strategies, prioritising de-escalation and trauma-informed care.

Furthermore, I’m committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of every child under my care. I believe strongly in helping children build the confidence, resilience, and skills to thrive today and in the future.

I am passionate about empowering children. I strive to help each child reach their full potential through consistent support, tailored interventions, and a deep understanding of individual needs.

A quote I live by

“Every child deserves to feel safe, heard, and empowered.”

My defining story

Supporting my autistic son through his educational journey and the challenges he faced in life was a turning point for me.

Witnessing his resilience and navigating the systems alongside him gave me a deep, personal understanding of the struggles many children experience—especially those with additional needs.

This journey ignited a passion within me to make a difference to other children facing similar challenges. It inspired me to pursue a career where I could be a consistent, understanding presence for those who need it most.
