OUR SERVICES

Training and Clinical Consultation

Support and training are key to providing the highest possible standards of care. That’s why we invest heavily in our team’s education and development.

Our training programme is designed to develop a highly skilled, emotionally intelligent workforce.

Core components include:

  • PACE and Secure Base training for attachment-focused care
  • PRICE training in de-escalation and positive behaviour support
  • Ligature awareness, suicide prevention and safeguarding
  • First aid, fire safety, and medication administration

In addition to mandatory qualifications, we provide:

  • Monthly reflective practice and clinical consultancy
  • Therapeutic parenting workshops
  • Specialist sessions with external experts (e.g., trauma, SEND, mental health)

“Each team member undergoes induction and continuous Continuing Professional Development (CPD) tailored to their roles.”

Leadership is trained to support wellbeing, manage risk, and embed therapeutic principles.

Our culture of continuous learning ensures that:

  • Staff feel confident and competent in their practice
  • Children benefit from consistent, informed care
  • Teams stay emotionally regulated and resilient

We also support our staff’s emotional wellbeing through supervision, peer debriefing, and access to external counselling when needed. At Above and Beyond, staff aren’t just employees— they’re agents of change. They have a responsibility to help children overcome all manner of obstacles, and our training programme equips them with the skills and knowledge to be able to do this.

Individualised Care Plans

Every child has an individualised care plan developed in partnership with their key worker, family, and professional network. Daily life at Above and Beyond balances therapeutic support with structure and routine.

  • Recreational, cultural, and skill-building activities

We know healing happens through relationships. That’s why consistency, trust, and empathy are embedded into our daily care.
