Designed with safety, stability, and healing in mind, Beach House offers solo and dual placements for children and young people aged 11–17 with complex needs.

  • Capacity: 2 young people (solo and dual placement models)
  • Bedrooms: 2 spacious, private bedrooms with calming décor
  • Staffing Ratio: 2:1, with 24/7 support

The space is designed to feel safe and homely while supporting routines, regulation, and a sense of belonging.

  • Ground floor access, low-stimulation environment, visual aids available
  • Walking distance to train station and key services
  • All facilities meet children’s home standards and health/safety regulations

  • Safe, enclosed outdoor garden space
  • Shared lounge, dining space, & sensory-friendly chill-out zone
  • Fully equipped kitchen for shared and independent meal prep
  • Wi-Fi, monitored smart TV access, and laptop learning station
  • Secure entry system, risk-assessed layout, and 24hr safeguarding measures
  • Typically 2:1 staffing ratio with 24/7 support

Meet the team

The Beach House team

The Beach House team is made up of experienced, compassionate professionals committed to trauma-informed, relationship-led care. We maintain high staff-to-child ratios (typically 2:1) to ensure individualised attention and consistent emotional support. Every child is matched with a dedicated Key Worker, supported by:

  • Residential care staff trained in PACE and Secure Base
  • On-site or visiting therapeutic consultants
  • Clinical supervisors
  • Education and life skills coordinators
