My defining story
My journey into care began from personal experience. At the age of 15, I became a young career for my cousin, who was born with a complex disability. With my cousin’s parents working multiple jobs, I took on responsibilities most teenagers never face. I administered medication, managed routines, and navigated the emotional weight of caregiving.
That experience matured me quickly and opened my eyes to the gaps within the care system. It became my mission to be part of the solution. What could have been a burden turned into a calling. I now use that early life experience to inspire the young people I support, showing them that strength can grow from struggle.
Biography
With over 23 years of experience in the care sector, I am a dedicated, compassionate Homes Manager. During my career, I’ve provided a broad spectrum of services for both adults and children. My career began as a support worker in a children’s residential home, and I’ve since progressed to roles in frontline care, team leadership, and service management. My deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals and care teams has made me a respected leader in my field.
My leadership style is hands-on, person-centred, and values-driven. Whether I’m managing crisis placements, developing tailored care plans, or mentoring junior staff, my focus is always on creating safe, supportive environments where individuals can thrive.
I have a particular passion for working with young people who’ve experienced trauma and enabling them to believe in their potential, no matter their past.
Qualifications
- Level 3 and Level 4 qualifications in Children’s Residential Care
- Level 3 qualification in Teaching and Supporting Children in Education
- PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System)
- Designated Safeguarding Lead

OUR REFERRAL PROCESS
We welcome referrals for children and young people aged 11–17 who require therapeutic residential care. Whether for emergency, short-term, or long-term placements, our referral process is responsive, transparent, and person-centred.
