My defining story
My dad had a friend from the local area who was a former ABA Heavyweight Champion. He started taking me to the gym as a teenager, and so my love for boxing began. I was inspired by how hard he trained to consistently kept himself fit and the way he carried himself in general.
Biography
I started my career as an RAF Firefighter working on operations in the UK and abroad, notably Iraq and Afghanistan.
I later worked as a crew manager at RAF Woodvale for Babcock International where I acquired my first business, North West Fire Solutions Ltd.
I grew the business alongside my job and eventually left my position to work in North West Fire Solutions full-time. From here, I set up a property company (Paradox Property) and then Above and Beyond Residential Care Services.
I’ve worked with young people for 20 years as a volunteer amateur boxing coach. Firstly, at the Golden Gloves ABC in Liverpool, and currently at Birkenhead Venture ABC in Birkenhead. Making a difference in their lives makes all the sacrifices worthwhile.
I have been heavily involved in amateur boxing for over 20 years and I spend three to four nights per week coaching young people. I also enjoy keeping fit and spending time with my partner and family.

OUR REFERRAL PROCESS
We welcome referrals for children and young people aged 11–17 who require therapeutic residential care. Whether for emergency, short-term, or long-term placements, our referral process is responsive, transparent, and person-centred.
